About

Fabulous papercraft for your one of a kind project!

Sewing and fabric are in the genes. My grandmother was an ardent maker of fabric dolls long before fabric dolls were trendy. I sewed my first vest at six years old on an old 1929 Singer Pedal-foot machine my grandmother owned, and it still sits in the family.

Sewing was common bonding time with my grandmother as I had zero interest in playing with the dolls we made together, but the art of turning a piece of fabric into something otherworldly was exciting.

We lived close to a printing press, and I would collect their disposed paper scraps and make notepad and fancy notebooks for myself and my friends.

In 2016 after a major automotive accident that limited some of my mobility I found comfort in my roots, sewing and crafting. From that...voila! LA Creek Blue was made.
